Can produce good power for loop, and great for blocking as well. It feels soft on the touch, and the blade is thin enough for loop on the table. I question the built quality as I bought one from Asia and one from reputable US on-line vendor. I am sure these two paddles came from different batches, but for some reason the one from Asia has less vibration and feels softer on the touch. The one from the US is missing JTTAA imprint and Yasaka tag on the bottom of the handle. Go figure…

IMO, this Inspirit Quattro UL rubber is a step back of Inspirit Quattro. The to sheet is thinner, but it doesn’t have the same feel of built-in glue anymore. The bounce is a lot slower. I believe this rubber is good for beginer to intermediate players. Expert or master level will find this rubber a little unresponsive and perhaps, over engineeered to save weight.

The city for the China Open 2009 has been changed to Tianjin. The Pro Tour event will take place from 12th to 16th August as originally scheduled.

Three years before the London Olympic Games will stage the table tennis events, the sport is gaining popularity throughout the country.
According to a survey conducted by Sport England, table tennis was the only one of the 31 funded sports to significantly increase in terms of young people.
