The city for the China Open 2009 has been changed to Tianjin. The Pro Tour event will take place from 12th to 16th August as originally scheduled.
All those associations and individuals who have already booked their tickets to Zhengzhou are asked to change the reservation to Beijing. From Beijing the organizers will provide transport to Tianjin and back. Most of you may have already tickets through Beijing, this should be the final destination.
Unfortunately, owing to circumstances beyond the control of the city of Zhengzhou (the original host) the hall will not be ready for our event. Therefore, with tremendous efforts from the Chinese TTA, a new host (Tianjin) was found in a very short time. The ITTF thanks the Chinese TTA for all their efforts in maintaining the China Open on the same dates and moving the event to a convenient location near Beijing.
