The newly formed ITTF Education & Training Department has agreed
terms with former Swedish international Peter Karlsson to work on an
individual basis with a selected group of top level juniors, supported
through the ITTF/Olympic Solidarity project: With the Future in Mind.

Doha on Saturday 21st February 2009 beating Chinese national team
compatriot Guo Yue in four straight games.In a contest between
the reigning Olympic champion and the reigning World champion it was
the former who prevailed and she prevailed in style. She won 11-6,
11-2, 11-6, 11-9. -

stage of the Men’s Singles event at the Qatar Open in Doha on Friday
20th February 2009 and thus prevented a semi-final line up of players
who learnt their trade in China. -
