Medal haul for NTU at European Champs

Nottingham Trent University’s table tennis team brought home three medals from the European University Table Tennis Championships held in Zonguldak, Turkey.

They secured one silver and two bronze medals after a successful campaign in Europe.

The latest Active People’s Survey (APS) has provided further evidence that table tennis participation levels continue to be on the rise across the country.

According to the results released by Sport England on 13th June, table tennis has shown almost a 5% increase in once a week participation levels over the past 12 months.

The University of East London will play host to the third Jack Petchey Foundation London Schools’ Individual Finals as the cream of the crop of 11-19 year-olds from across the capital will once again exhibit the best of London’s table tennis.

The British Grand Prix season is set to come to a dramatic close on the final weekend at the Bribar Medway Grand Prix (8-9th June 2013) which will take place at Medway Park, Gillingham with a number of overall titles up for grabs including the prestigious Women’s Singles event.
