An astonishing 62 hours was broadcasted on CCTV5 during the LIEBHERR 2013 World Table Tennis Championships with the two Singles Finals being the second and third most watched sports programs on China’s CCTV in 2013 so far.

The English Table Tennis Association’s Chief Executive, Richard Yule, has been recognised for his long and glittering career in table tennis with the International Table Tennis Federation’s Merit Award at a ceremony held at the recent World Championships in Paris, France.

This year’s penultimate British Grand Prix event, the Bribar London GP, has seen the highest entry in three years with over 200 players to descend upon a jam-packed Redbridge Sports Centre next weekend.

Two in-form teenagers are looking to make it big at the Liebherr 2013 World Table Tennis Championships in Paris (13-20^th May). 

Liam Pitchford, 19 years old from Chesterfield, and Sam Walker, 17 from Worksop, have been setting the benchmarks for English table tennis in 2013 and both hope to make a big impact in Paris next week.
