Who is going to complete the line up in the Chinese Men’s Team? Who is going to be left out?

It would seem that the nominated list may be well be changed by Liu Guoliang, the Chinese Men’s National Team Head Coach.

At the moment the name of Ma Lin, the reigning Olympic champion, does not appear hut it would seem the door has not quite closed on his hopes of a flight to Moscow.

The final place is between the two players who contested the Men’s Singles final at the Volkswagen World Championships in 2005 and the Liebherr World Championships in 2007. It is either Wang Liqin or Ma Lin.

    Selection Tournament
At Selection Tournament held on Sunday 9th May 2010 in Beilun, Zhejiang Province, Wang Hao seized the opportunity and confirmed his selection.

Wang Liqin beat Ma Lin (6-11, 8-11, 11-9, 11-6, 11-7) before Wang Hao recorded a brace of victories. He defeated Ma Lin (9-11, 11-8, 8-11, 11-8, 12-10) before overcoming Wang Liqin (6-11,11-7,11-5,11-8).

The final place is now the decision of the coaches.

Will be Wang Liqin or will it be Ma Lin; that is the question!
