At the European Youth Championships in Prague, boys from Western
Europe and girls from Eastern European countries will face each other
    in the final.

The Swedes surprised with Kristian Karlsson and Matthias Oversjö beating Germany’s number one Patrick Franziska.

    In
the girls’ semi-final match between Germany and Hungary, 15-year-old
Dora Madarasz, the youngest in the team, scored two points.

    French Boys Make Their Way
    The
boys from France want to defend their title from last year against
Sweden again. Thomas Le Breton won both matches to put the squad in
    blue into the final.

Portugal’s Diogo Silva won the first
match against Victorien Le Guen 11-9 in the fifth game, but lost 9-11
in the fifth game against Le Breton.

    Romania’s Team Leader Wins again
    After
the Romanians almost failed against France in the quarter-finals, the
top seeded Eastern Europeans showed a flawless performance in the semis
    against Poland.

With team leader Cristina Hirici back on the
winning street after a moderate semi-final performance, the Romanians
    overcame Poland with 3-0.

    Cadet Finals
    Germany
and Serbia will face each other in today’s final in the Cadet Girls’
Team event. The Germans beat Portugal with 3-2 although Petrissa Solja

    Petrissa Solja, Maria
Xiao, Bernadette Szöcs and Aleksandra Radonjic are all good for the
title in the Singles event too, but this is yet to come.

the Cadet Boys’ Team event, Simon Gauzy put his team in the final where
they will face an in-form Swedish squad with Hampus Söderlund and Albin
    Wemmert.
