The ITTF Women’s Working Group will organise a forum dedicated to the players during the H.I.S. 2009 World Table Tennis Championships in Yokohama on 4th of May from 09:00 to 13:00.
The title of this forum is “Player today, leader tomorrow”… and the line-up of the speakers at the forum shows that the gender discussion is red-hot and that it does concern women and men likewise. Men and Female Speakers Scheduled
Among the rapporteurs and speakers, there will not only be ITTF President Adham Sharara, but also several directors of the ITTF and of course ITTF Project Manager Lilamani de Soysa, driving force behind all successful women’s projects in the world of table tennis.
Sweden’s Hall of Famer Peter Karlsson, first Olympic and Parlympic participant in the Olympic history Natalia Partyka of Poland as well as the Japanese superstar Ai Fukuhara plus sport fashion designer and top player Naomi Yotsumoto and many others show interest and will actively participate at the forum in Yokohama.
