    In order not to lose the overview about regulations, devices and methods, please be informed with the following documents and information about racket control. Find out where to purchase the MiniRAE-Lite® testing device and where to order the metallic “Cap” that has to be connected with the device. Furthermore there is a racket control announcement of the ITTF Executive Committee from October this year and the whole testing procedure is exactly described in the Technical Leaflet.

    Prizes and where to Order
    The MiniRAE-Lite® gauge, the official testing device to be used for the detection of VOCs by Racket Controllers at all ITTF events, is produced by the U.S. manufacturer RAE Systems. Please have a look at the website of RAE and choose your region. Further information about the device is on www.raesystems.com/products/minirae-lite.

    The cap (including the flexible Teflon tube) can be purchased from the ITTF headquarters:

    Following its October meeting in Copenhagen, Denmark, the ITTF Executive Committee made the following RACKET CONTROL ANNOUNCEMENT.

    In order to find the complete description of the racket testing process, please have a look at the TECHNICAL LEAFLET T9. On 18 pages you will not only find the description of detecting VOCs, but also how thickness is measured, what the rules for rubbers and rackets are, where and when voluntary racket controls are possible and how the racket control procedure is executed by the certified ITTF Racket Controllers.

    Authorised Racket Coverings
    On the ITTF website, there is a dedicated section for Racket Control . Please find also the List of Authorised Racket Coverings (LARC) no.30 valid from 1st July 2009 to 31st December 2009 and the LARC no.30B in force from 1st January 2010 to 30th June 2010.
